"A Biblical Reaction to Injustice"
Psalms 7, 35, 55, 58, 59, 69, 79, 109, 137 and 139 are examples of imprecatory psalms. They are those psalms that contain curses or prayers for the punishment of the psalmist's enemies. Difficulties may arise when the reader seeks to harmonize the imprecatory attitude of the psalms with Jesus’ teaching that one should love our enemies (Matthew 5:44). In this message pastor Snowden helps us to understand the Imprecatory Psalms in the New Covenant era. (Psalms 35, 109 and 137 ESV)
